Casey's early life, the details of her family and education background are her private matter and we know very little about them. In high school and college, it was evident she had lots of talents. After her marriage she was employed by some of her closest friends as babysitter. Casey is 44 now and is now a proud mom. A&E Network wanted to hire Casey Nezhoda to be babysitter and Rene to work on the family business. But due to their inability to find time for themselves they declined. The couple was given another opportunity to be recurring characters during season 4 of "Storage Wars". They acted as purchasers in the first six episodes, before becoming their main characters in the subsequent season.
